New Chair and new Board Member of Scila’s Board

Tomas Franzén has been appointed new Chair of the Board and Michel André new Board Member of Scila AB.

Tomas has a long background as CEO of technology and media companies, including as Group CEO of Bonnier AB and previously CEO of Com Hem, Eniro and Song Networks. Today he works as a professional board director, with roles including Chair of the Board of TietoEvry and Dustin Group, and Board Member of Axel Johnson AB and Martin & Servera.

Michel is Senior Executive Advisor at Banking Circle, where he was previously CIO. He has a long background as a technology leader in the financial sector – including as CTO of Saxo Bank – with more than 25 years’ experience in trading systems, exchange technology and real-time risk management. He has previously also worked at Nordea Markets and OMX Technology, among others.

Both Tomas and Michel have also become part-owners of Scila.

Lars-Ivar Sellberg is stepping down as Chair of the Board but remains an adviser to the company and a significant shareholder. Max Sievert extends its warm thanks to Lars-Ivar for his commitment and leadership as Chair.

New members to Regin’s board

Cecilia Wachtmeister and Peter Hallberg have been appointed as new board members of Aktiebolaget Regin.

Cecilia has until recently been CEO of IAR Systems, which was listed on the stock exchange until November 2025. Before that, she has held leading positions in Kambi, Ericsson and Sony Mobile Communications. Cecilia is a member of the boards of the listed companies HMS Networks and Smarteye.

Peter is currently CEO of Allakustik Underbara Tak, owned by Vestum. Before that, he worked for about 30 years at Siemens and Schneider, including as CEO of Siemens Building Technologies Europe and Vice President Digital Energy North Europe for Schneider Electric. Peter is Chairman of the Board of Vestum-owned We Are Group AB.

Leif Brattschöld, one of the entrepreneurs behind Regin and i.a. its former CEO, has declined re-election to the board. Max Sievert extends our warm thanks to Leif for his strong and long-term commitment to Regin.

Margit Kihl promoted to Associate

Max Sievert has promoted Margit Kihl to Associate. Margit joined the team as an Analyst in early 2025, having previously worked as an intern for a year alongside her studies. She holds a double MSc in Accounting and Finance and in International Management (CEMS) from the Stockholm School of Economics.

AB Max Sievert har den 19 december 2025 ökat ägandet i AB Regin från 76 procent till 98 procent genom förvärv av aktier från entreprenörerna Leif Brattschöld, Peter Bohlin och John Reed. Leif Brattschöld kvarstår som ledamot i Regins styrelse.

New Chairman and new CEO at Viken Group

Johan Lundgren has been appointed the new Chairman of the Board at Viken Group. Johan is currently a Senior Advisor and formerly Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal. Prior to that, he spent 30 years at Bain & Company, most recently as a Senior Partner. Johan succeeds Göran Ydstrand, who has served as Chairman for more than ten years.

The Board of Directors at Viken Group has appointed Anna Silvesjö as CEO. Anna joined the group in 2021 as CFO and succeeds Stefan Nilsson, who has been CEO since 2016.

New CEO at Convini

Convini, Europe’s leading provider of smart unmanned meal stores and coffee solutions for workplaces, announced today that Henrik Samuelson will take over as the new CEO starting August 1. He succeeds Mats Palmquist, who, after seven successful years in the role, is moving on to Orkla.

With his extensive leadership experience in the food industry and business sector – most recently as Senior Vice President and a member of the Group Management Team at Paulig Group – Henrik Samuelson is taking the helm at Convini during a period of strong growth and continued expansion. He has previously held senior positions at companies including Orkla, Lindt, and Unilever.
